Dancing, running and fitness were staples of Heidi Saunders' youth.
Heidi realized early on that in order to feel good, she needed to move, stretch, fuel and challenge her body often.
While in college, Heidi began teaching group fitness. Post college, Heidi worked in corporate fitness, at Lifetime Fitness Easton and at local health clubs; as a manager, personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
While working corporate fitness, Heidi's manager informed her that she should be "the one" to go to an intensive yoga teacher training; begrudgingly, Heidi complied. Heidi's life was shaken in a profound, beautiful way as she learned all about yoga postures, breathing, meditation and yogic philosophy; especially, "metta," loving kindness for herself and others.
Reading Todd Durkin's book, "The Impact Body Plan," inspired Heidi to add massage therapy to her business. Heidi graduated from the American Institute for Alternative Medicine, Balanced Yoga University and Ohio University. Heidi is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher and a Certified Personal Trainer. Heidi is the owner and operator of Feel Good Bodyworks Therapeutic Massage and Wellness.
